Ford of Bruinen
This bend in the Arrow River near Arrowtown was used in filming the Ford of Bruinen in LOTR, where the Black Riders chased Arwen as she carried the injured Frodo across the river. This is actually looking down river. The location where Arwen summoned the flooding river was filmed on a different location at nearby Skippers Canyon.
