LOTR store, Queenstown
This store was originally just the headquarters for Nomad Safaris, a company that offered 4WD tours through the local backcountry. They’ve since converted the main street location into a full Lord of the Rings store with just about every piece of LOTR merchandise ever invented. This Nomad guy was very friendly and told me lots of stories about all his friends that were featured in the movie. He wouldn’t let me take this photo without first being able to pull out and show off this sword that was supposedly glowing blue because orcs were nearby. Um, ok sure…
