Lake Wakatipu from the Gondola
The Skyline Gondola lifts passengers 450 meters (1500 feet) above Queenstown to a ledge that provides absolutely spectacular views of the town and most of Lake Wakatipu. It moves a lot quicker than I thought it would, and it felt like we were moving at an angle steeper than 45 degrees. More like 60+.
