Pool at Bondi Icebergs
The beautiful saltwater-filled swimming pool at Bondi Icebergs, where waves often break over the side (in fact, I think that’s kinda the point).

wow, very cool.
(hi doug! beautiful albums! :)
Hey Doug, that would be where John took you then? I hada a pleasurable afternoon sipping cold beers there with John and Maxine (Westciv) having just walked across from the other side of Bondi Beach under fearsome sun. Those beers sure tasted good!
I spent a couple of hours sitting there on the bench and took loads of pics with my digicam in September 2003. Its the combination of numerous angles, plain walls, glas and maritime nature that gives this building a timeless appearence. It could have been built in the 70s as well as in the future… timeless. And its the variations of blue from the sky, the ocean and the building. What a combination.
The Bondi Icebergs Salt Water Pool is a public pool that is open to all visitors for a $4.50 entry fee, $1 for children. The pool is managed by professional staff from 6.30am to 7.00pm every day except Thursday when it is cleaned. The sauna is free of charge once you have paid your entry fee. Changerooms and lockers are available.
The Bondi Icebergs Club is on level 2 of the complex and all you need is identification to gain access to the best kept watering hole in possibly the world.
Drink prices are resonable and meals are available from the Sundeck Cafe whose menu is extensive and inexpensive.
Coming to Sydney than the Icebergs is a must.
